Her controversial moments have sparked intense debates across social media platforms, with audiences divided between criticism and support.

Tanya Mittal’s Parents Break Their Silence

In a statement shared through Tanya’s official Instagram account, her parents expressed their conflicted emotions watching their daughter on national television.

“We cannot explain the mix of emotions we feel seeing our Tanya on the country’s biggest reality show. As parents, nothing makes us prouder than watching her win hearts. But at the same time, nothing hurts more than seeing her being pulled down, made a target, and spoken about so cruelly by people who don’t even know her heart,” the statement read.

Appeal for Fair Judgment

The parents made a direct appeal to viewers and critics, requesting patience before forming final opinions about their daughter’s character.

“To everyone questioning her or throwing allegations, we have only one request: please wait until her journey is complete before passing judgments. She deserves that much. Your reels and allegations may win you attention, but they leave scars that last a lifetime,” they stated.

Family’s Emotional Toll

The statement revealed the personal impact of negative commentary on the entire family, with her parents requesting privacy during this challenging period.

“And please… we ask with folded hands, keep us, her family, out of this. This is a very difficult time for us. We never imagined that our daughter, whom we raised with nothing but love, would be subjected to such negativity on such a public stage. Every harsh word cuts us too, in ways you may never understand.”

The event, organised at Punpun, was a part of the commitments he made during his Pragati Yatra. Out of the total, 12 projects from the energy sector formed the bulk, valued at ₹1,031 crore.

The list of projects spanned a wide range of areas. Roads, bridges and tourism-related works figured alongside major power schemes. Some notable works included the construction of an RCC bridge across the Punpun river, complete with approach roads connecting Samda and Gularia Bigha villages in Paliganj, costing ₹19 crore. Another project set aside ₹14 crore for tourist facilities at the Ular Sun Temple, also in Paliganj. Connectivity initiatives included a road of ₹88 lakh linking Akauna village to the Patna Ring Road, a two-lane stretch of ₹41 crore between Sohagi Mor and Kandaap, and the Lakshman Jhula-style suspension bridge at Punpun Pinddaan, valued at ₹82 crore. Nitish personally inaugurated the new bridge and received a warm response from the gathering.

Energy projects dominated the announcements. Nine new substations worth ₹130 crore, along with 17 33 kV lines costing ₹80 crore, were approved. Expansions of transformer capacity in 26 substations together drew more than ₹30 crore. New lines and reconductoring measures, including 20 fresh 33 kV lines, required another ₹96 crore. Landmark additions included a ₹301 crore gas-insulated grid substation in Bakhtiyarpur, a ₹58 crore GIS grid substation at Board Colony, and a ₹256 crore 400 kV double-circuit line connecting Buxar Thermal Power Plant to Naubatpur. Smaller works included two GIS line bays at Hathidah for ₹14 crore and renovation of the Khagaul grid substation for ₹13 crore.

Nitish also used the occasion to interact with scheme beneficiaries. Pensioners and welfare recipients thanked him for raising support from ₹400 to ₹1,100. Villagers cited free electricity of up to 125 units as a major relief. Women associated with Jeevika highlighted easier access to loans at 7% interest, while Mamta workers welcomed doubled incentives and ASHA workers appreciated a threefold rise in theirs. Public distribution system dealers too acknowledged recent decisions that addressed their demands.

Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Mittal announced a relief for the families who lost members during recent floods in Punjab will receive permanent job opportunities at Lovely Professional University (LPU). This milestone decision was taken on September 5.

According to the officials, the initiative aims to provide long-term employment security to bereaved families following devastating floods that claimed 43 lives across Punjab. AAP MP Ashok Mittal also emphasized that the deceased individuals were not merely statistics but represented significant losses for their families and communities.

AAP MP Ashok Mittal provides financial support for flood affected families

In addition to the employment announcement, he contributed ₹20 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support ongoing flood relief operations. The contribution supplements government efforts to assist affected populations across the state.

AAP MP praised Punjab Govt.’s efforts to tackle floods

Moreover, the AAP MP also commended Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his administration’s flood response, highlighting the establishment of 196 relief camps and successful rescue operations that saved over 20,000 people. The coordinated relief efforts demonstrated effective crisis management during the emergency period.

Implementation Strategy

The LPU team will conduct direct outreach to contact affected families individually. Families who have not been contacted are encouraged to come forward to ensure comprehensive coverage of the support program. The initiative focuses on providing sustainable employment rather than temporary financial assistance.

Further, the AAP MP stated that the 43 lives lost represent genuine disaster victims, emphasizing Punjab’s historical resilience during crises and the community’s responsibility to support affected residents.

Comprehensive Support Framework

The employment program extends beyond immediate financial relief, offering long-term career stability and local job opportunities. This approach addresses the economic challenges faced by families who lost primary breadwinners during the flooding.

Ashok Mittal positioned the initiative as demonstrating practical leadership through direct action rather than symbolic gestures. The program aims to provide concrete assistance to 43 families while showcasing the Aam Aadmi Party’s commitment to substantive relief measures.

The announcement represents a targeted response to flood aftermath challenges, combining immediate financial support through the relief fund contribution with sustainable long-term employment opportunities through institutional partnerships.

Affected families can expect personal contact from LPU representatives to facilitate the job placement process and ensure timely implementation of the support program.

Apple’s India Retail Strategy Believed To Deliver Nine Billion Dollar Earnings

Apple is stepping up its presence in India as the American technology company adds more retail stores to its growing portfolio. The latest additions are Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru and Apple Koregaon Park in Pune, bringing the total number of outlets in the country to four. Alongside this expansion, Bloomberg has reported that Apple generated close to nine billion dollars in revenue in the most recent financial year, a clear sign of rising consumer demand in the Indian market.

According to the report, Apple’s sales increased by around thirteen percent in the twelve months ending in March, up from eight billion dollars the previous year. Much of this growth has been fueled by strong iPhone sales, while MacBook computers also contributed significantly to the results.

Four Apple Stores Now Open Across India
India now hosts four official Apple stores, complementing the company’s online platform. Before this week, Apple BKC in Mumbai and Apple Saket in New Delhi were the only two locations. The launch of Apple Hebbal and Apple Koregaon Park has expanded that footprint. These outlets provide the same features found globally, including Apple Genius Bars for technical support, pickup points for online orders, daily Today at Apple learning sessions on technology, photography and artificial intelligence, as well as Business Pros to advise enterprises.

Like all Apple facilities worldwide, the new Indian stores run entirely on renewable energy and are carbon neutral. Reports suggest Apple is preparing to open further outlets in Mumbai and the National Capital Region in the near future.

This wave of store openings matches Bloomberg’s findings that Apple’s revenue in India continues to climb, reflecting a strategy that blends retail expansion with stronger sales performance.

Trump Says China Has Pulled India And Russia Into Its Orbit

US President Donald Trump on Friday remarked that India and Russia seem to have been “lost” to China, a statement made in the aftermath of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) gathering held in Tianjin earlier this week. His fresh social media post came shortly after the striking display of camaraderie among Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Russian President Vladimir Putin at the summit drew global attention, especially across Western nations.

Posting a photograph of the Modi Xi Putin meeting, Trump wrote: “Looks like we’ve lost India and Russia to deepest, darkest, China. May they have a long and prosperous future together!”

The comment followed the SCO meeting, which observers interpret as a signal of resistance against Trump’s steep tariff measures, and comes at a moment when ties between New Delhi and Washington are considered to be at their lowest point in nearly twenty years.

Relations between India and the United States have soured after Trump increased tariffs on Indian products to fifty percent, one of the sharpest hikes imposed on any trading partner. Earlier in the week, Trump had described America’s economic relationship with India as a “one sided disaster” while pointing to the trade imbalance between the two countries. His remarks coincided with Modi’s participation at the SCO summit in China along with other global leaders.

“What few people understand is that we do very little business with India, but they do a tremendous amount of business with us,” Trump stated in another online post. “In other words, they sell us massive amounts of goods, their biggest ‘client’, but we sell them very little…a totally one sided relationship, and it has been for many decades,” he added.

Washington has attributed the rise in tariff levels to India’s continued oil imports from Russia, while trade negotiators from both sides have been attempting to finalize a possible deal in recent weeks.

As the downturn in bilateral relations deepens, several former United States officials have blamed Trump for pushing India closer toward China.

Former National Security Adviser John Bolton noted on Thursday that the “once strong personal rapport” between Modi and Trump has diminished, accusing the president of setting back bilateral ties by decades.

Meanwhile, former National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan observed that Trump’s “massive trade offensive” left India with little option but “to sit with China.” According to him, many allies now perceive Washington as a “big disruptor” while Beijing has gained ground in international popularity.

“China has moved ahead of the United States in popularity in a whole lot of countries. And that was not the case one year ago, where countries now are basically saying the US brand is in the toilet and China is looking like a responsible player,” Sullivan said.

While China appears to be positioning itself as a responsible global actor, Sullivan added that “the US brand is in the toilet.”

Mumbai On Maximum Alert After Lashkar E Jihadi Alleges 34 Bombs And 400 Kg RDX Hidden

Mumbai Police announced on Friday that the city has been placed on high alert after receiving a threatening call in which the caller alleged that thirty four human bombs equipped with four hundred kilograms of RDX had been planted in thirty four vehicles for a massive explosion intended to shake the entire city. The call was made to the traffic police helpline.

According to officials, the threat was issued by a group named Lashkar E Jihadi on the eve of Anant Chaturdashi, and security measures across Maharashtra have been tightened as a precaution.

The message claimed that thirty four cars carrying suicide attackers would be detonated with four hundred kilograms of RDX, causing deaths on a catastrophic scale and threatening the lives of nearly one crore people.

The warning coincides with Ganesh Chaturthi festivities drawing to a close, as thousands of devotees participate in visarjan ceremonies across Mumbai to bid farewell to the idols marking the conclusion of celebrations.

Earlier this week, a forty three year old man was taken into custody for allegedly issuing a false bomb threat concerning the destruction of a railway station in Thane district of Maharashtra.

The Government Railway Police reported that the suspect, Rupesh Madhukar Ranpise, phoned the police helpline around four in the evening on Sunday, claiming that he had placed explosives at Kalwa railway station, according to a PTI report.

In August, the ISKCON Temple situated in Girgaon, South Mumbai, received a bomb threat email that was later confirmed to be a hoax after a detailed search of the premises was carried out.

The temple administration stated that the threatening email arrived on August twenty second through its official email address, warning of a potential blast, after which police were immediately alerted.

Authorities said a night time search operation involving the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad was undertaken, but no suspicious objects were discovered and the email was labeled as a hoax.

Officials also confirmed that a similar threat email was received by the same temple again in September, though it too turned out to be false.

On July twenty fifth, Mumbai Police were alerted through a phone call about a supposed bomb blast at Terminal Two of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. A thorough search was carried out but nothing suspicious was found at the site.

Punjab Minister Asks Central Government To Grant Rs 50,000 Per Acre Relief

Calling for a compensation of no less than Rs 50,000 per acre for crop damage, Punjab Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian on Thursday pressed Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for urgent relief and a substantial financial package to counter the destructive impact of floods.

He further sought enhanced support for farmers hit hard by the disaster, with more than four lakh acres of farmland submerged, posing risks to both state and national food reserves.

Khudian joined the Union Agriculture Minister on visits to the flood-ravaged districts of Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Kapurthala, highlighting the severe blow to the farming community.

When Union Minister Chouhan arrived at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport in Amritsar, he was welcomed by Khudian, who stressed the need for immediate action as the minister assessed losses and interacted with affected cultivators.

The Punjab minister underlined that over four lakh acres of standing crops had been destroyed, according to initial reports, reflecting the gravity of the situation. With paddy fields bearing the brunt just ahead of harvesting season, Khudian said the devastation has inflicted heavy losses on farmers and weakened the agricultural economy of the state. The rural economy has also suffered further setbacks due to significant damage to livestock resources.

“Punjab’s role in ensuring national food security is critical,” remarked Khudian, noting that as a key agrarian region, the state contributes immensely to the country’s food supply chain. Yet, the floods have caused unparalleled destruction to crops, rural infrastructure and farming livelihoods.

“The backbone of Punjab’s economy faces unprecedented stress, requiring swift intervention to restore agriculture and ease farmer distress,” he emphasized. Pointing out the inadequacy of the present compensation for flood-hit cultivators, Khudian said the amount of Rs 6,800 per acre falls far short of covering the farmers’ losses.

He pressed the Centre to raise the figure to at least Rs 50,000 per acre without further delay. Khudian also urged the immediate release of Rs 8,000 crore from the Rural Development Fund and Market Development Fund that remain pending with the Union government. Additionally, Punjab needs a comprehensive relief package to recover from the floods and safeguard the state’s economy, he asserted.

The Bihar government has approved the construction of 10 new hostels for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students under the Prime Minister’s Anusuchit Jati Abhyudaya Yojana (PM-AJAY) scheme, marking a significant step toward improving educational infrastructure for marginalised communities.

The decision was announced during a state-level planning evaluation and convergence committee meeting held in Patna on September 4. The meeting was chaired by the Secretary of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department.

Here’s how Bihar hostels are allocated:

Muzaffarpur will receive the maximum benefit with four new hostels, while Patna will get two. The remaining districts—Darbhanga, Begusarai, Buxar, and Khagaria—will each receive one hostel facility.

•          Muzaffarpur: 4 hostels

•          Patna: 2 hostels

•          Darbhanga: 1 hostel

•          Begusaray: 1 hostel

•          Buxar: 1 hostel

•          Khagaria: 1 hostel

Bihar Govt. addresses educational challenges

According to the state government, many talented SC-ST students drop out of education due to a lack of proper accommodation facilities. This initiative aims to provide not only shelter and security to thousands of students but also create a conducive learning environment.

The government believes this decision will significantly impact the future of Dalit, Adivasi, and backwards community children by removing accommodation barriers that often force students to abandon their studies.

Who participated in the high-level meeting?

The meeting included participation from the department’s director, additional secretary, deputy director (headquarters), senior officials from various departments, and nodal officers. District welfare officers from concerned districts joined via video conferencing.

This approval represents a new chapter in Bihar’s educational sector, extending benefits beyond the state capital to rural districts. The PM-AJAY scheme focuses on empowering SC-ST communities through improved educational access and infrastructure development.

The initiative is expected to strengthen the educational foundation for marginalised students across Bihar, ensuring that financial and logistical constraints do not hinder their academic pursuits and career aspirations.

This initiative addresses the annual challenge faced by migrant workers who often struggle with expensive transportation costs during festival seasons. The government aims to ensure safe and affordable travel for every migrant Bihari wanting to celebrate festivals with their families.

The timing coincides with Bihar’s festival season when streets and courtyards come alive with celebrations, and every Bihari feels drawn toward their ancestral homes and villages.
