CBSE Board Exam 2025: No Toppers list to be out this time, Just score 33% to Qualify

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that it will not be releasing a merit list or dividing students into divisions for the 2025 board exams. This decision is in line with the board’s previous practice of avoiding unhealthy competition among students.

No Open-Book exams for CBSE Exams

The board has also clarified that there will be no reduction in the syllabus or a shift to open-book exams for the upcoming board exams. Students are advised to disregard any misinformation circulating on social media.

Minimum Passing Marks and Exam Pattern

Students will need to secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject and overall to pass the exam. The board has not made any changes to the exam pattern for the 2025 board exams.

CBSE Board Exam Dates

The CBSE is expected to release the official date sheet for the Class 10 and 12 board exams by the end of November. Based on previous trends, the exams are likely to commence around February 15, 2025.

As students gear up for the upcoming board exams, it’s crucial to rely on official sources for accurate information and avoid falling prey to misinformation.
