After much anticipation, the makers of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Dunki’ have unveiled the film’s peppy first track titled ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’. Featuring Shah Rukh and lead actress Taapsee Pannu, the song depicts a budding romance between their characters.
Composed by Pritam with vocals by Arijit Singh and lyrics penned by Swanand Kirkire, the dance number shows Shah Rukh’s character Hardy falling for Taapsee’s Manu. His energetic moves, choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, aim to win over Manu after she defends Hardy in trying circumstances.
The song sets the tone for the unlikely pairing at the heart of this coming-of-age tale revolving around four friends seeking better futures abroad. With glimpses of Shah Rukh’s trademark charm and a vibrant Punjab setting, ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’ promises wholesome entertainment characteristic of director Rajkumar Hirani’s style.
Dunki features an ensemble cast including Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Grover, and more alongside the lead pair. Marking Shah Rukh’s maiden collaboration with Hirani, the film brings together two beloved storytellers of contemporary Indian cinema.
