The OnePlus 15 5G is set to debut in India next month and is expected to arrive with major improvements in design, hardware, and overall performance. OnePlus has already begun teasing the phone’s India launch, offering a brief look at its refreshed aesthetics and upgraded specifications. Now, just before its global unveiling, the device has surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking platform and China’s TENAA certification website, hinting at key details about its capabilities.
According to the Geekbench listing, the OnePlus 15 5G appears under three model numbers: CPH2745, CPH2747, and CPH2748, which are believed to represent different regional versions. The models CPH2747 and CPH2748 were tested with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with 16GB of RAM, while the CPH2745 variant comes with 12GB of RAM. The flagship chipset helped the phone score around 3000 in single-core tests and nearly 10,000 in multi-core performance, indicating strong overall efficiency. These variations suggest that performance and storage configurations might differ depending on the market.
Details from the TENAA certification show that the device may feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and up to 165Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to include a new ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone could measure roughly 161.43 x 76.67 x 8.18mm and weigh around 210 grams. Powering the device may be a large 7,300mAh dual-cell battery, with each cell rated at 3,575mAh, promising extended endurance.
For optics, the OnePlus 15 5G might sport a 50MP triple rear camera system featuring a 3x periscope telephoto lens, along with a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
As for pricing, the OnePlus 15 5G is expected to fall within the Rs 65,000 to Rs 75,000 range in India. More concrete details regarding pricing and storage configurations will likely be revealed during the official announcement.
