Ram Temple Trust Invites Star Couple Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma For Ayodhya Event

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust has invited star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and his Bollywood actress wife Anushka Sharma as special guests for the historic inauguration of the Ram Mandir on January 22nd.

Pictures of the power couple posing with the ornate invitation card have been widely shared on social media ahead of the high-profile ceremony in Ayodhya. Several other eminent personalities are also expected to attend.

Earlier, the trust had sent invitees to iconic cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni. Their presence along with Virat Kohli would add excitement and celebrity appeal to the event.

Notably, Kohli made his long-awaited return to Team India’s T20 squad last week after more than a year out. He smashed 29 runs off 16 balls in Indore T20I, showing glimpses of his vintage best. His attacking approach has boosted selection chances for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

The guest list has over 7,000 invitees including PM Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, and other dignitaries. Elaborate arrangements have been made in Ayodhya including decking up roads and sprucing up ghats.

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma’s last screen appearance was in 2018 movie ‘Zero’. She plays former Indian women’s cricket captain Jhulan Goswami in her upcoming OTT movie ‘Chakda Xpress’, produced by her own banner.

The high-profile celebrity couple’s presence will undoubtedly take the glamour quotient a notch higher at the Ram Mandir inauguration which holds huge cultural and spiritual significance in India.
