Bharat Jodo Yatra Aniversary: Rahul Gandhi vows to continue Bhaarat Jodo Yatra until hatred is eradicated

Bharat Jodo Yatra: Rahul Gandhi

Today is the first anniversary of the launch of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. On the eve of the anniversary, Rahul Gandhi from the Indian National Congress said that the yatra would persist until hatred is eradicated and India remains united. He showed that he is committed to the cause with his reaffirmation.

With regard to this, he has also shared a video montage documenting his extensive journey which covered over 4,000 kilometers all the way from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. He also shared a heartwarming message in Hindi which meant:

“The crores of steps of Bharat Jodo Yatra towards unity and love have become the foundation of a better tomorrow for the country.” He further stated, “The journey continues – till hatred is eradicated, till India unites. This is my promise!”

Throughout, the entire course of the yatra, he engaged with the people around him through various means. This was done in the form of 12 public meetings, participation in over 100 street corner meetings, and 13 press conferences. He also planned 275 walking interactions with 100 sitting interactions with all the people he came across during his monumental yatra.

The outcome of Bhaarat Jodo Yatra

Rahul Gandhi was formerly seen as a reluctant and part-time politician in India. However, with this yatra, his public image emerged as someone who is a more mature and serious political figure who has attained respect even from opponents.

Covering 4,000 kilometers, he captured the attention of supporters as well as detractors. The yatra even witnessed participation from diverse segments of people including several celebrities like Kamal Haasan, Akansha Puri, and many more.

Wrap Up

To wrap up, even Aaditya Thackeray from the Shiv Sena, Priyanka Chaturvedi, Sanjay Raut, and Supriya Sule from the NCP, joined Rahul Gandhi at various points during the march. It demonstrates a collective commitment to the cause of unity and love in India.

Thus, as the yatra completes its first year, it is going to remain a symbol of hope. A hope for a loving and united India. Till then the yatra goes on until hatred is eradicated as per Rahul Gandhi’s pledge.
