Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Claims Responsibility for Multiple Shootings at Surrey Restaurant

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has allegedly carried out coordinated shooting attacks targeting multiple locations of a restaurant chain in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland. Gang member Goldy Dhillon claimed responsibility for the incidents through social media, marking the second consecutive day of gang-related violence in the region.

Lawrence Bishnoi Gang claims multiple shooting reports

According to Dhillon’s statement, three locations were targeted: Ustad G 76 on 76th Avenue, a South Surrey location on King George Boulevard, and a Maple Ridge establishment on Lougheed Highway. In his post, Dhillon justified the attacks by alleging workplace misconduct by the restaurant owner.

In his statement, identifying himself as “Goldy Dhillon Fateh Portugal, Lawrence Bishnoi Gang,” Dhillon wrote: “Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh. Ram Ram sare bhaiyan ne mai (Goldy dhillon fateh portugal lawrence bishnoi gang) jo Ustad G 76 (13025 76 ave) Ustad G 76 south surrey (2160 king george blvd) Ustad G 76 maple ridge (21768 Lougheed Hwy) Ehna 3 shootinga di jimmevari main lena ha. Es restaurant de owner dwara sadiyan dheeyan bhena nu kamm te tang kita janda si te kafi mehnatkash lokan di tankhaa mari gayi hai te Asi eh koshish krde rahage k eh restaurant reopen na hove. J sanu kise hor restaurant de malak ki same complaint ayi ta oh apne jaan te business de nuksan da aap jimmevar hove ga. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh.”

The attacks followed similar incidents two days prior, when the gang allegedly targeted properties belonging to rival Navi Tesi, including residential and commercial locations. The gang accused Tesi of extorting approximately five million rupees while falsely invoking Lawrence Bishnoi’s name.

These shootings occur against the backdrop of Canada’s recent designation of the Bishnoi gang as a terrorist organization, reflecting growing concerns about transnational organized crime operations. Video footage circulating online from previous incidents showed assailants employing high-powered firearms.

A Tribute to Individuals

Dhillon’s social media posts also included tributes to various individuals associated with gang activities, including Ankit Bhadu Sehrawala, Jitender Gogi Maan Group, Kala Rana, Aarzoo Bishnoi, and Sahil Duhan Hisar.

The escalating violence highlights ongoing challenges faced by Canadian law enforcement in addressing organized crime networks operating across international borders.
