Actor Sudhanshu Pandey has taken a firm stand against fellow The Traitors contestant Apoorva Mukhija, also known as “The Rebel Kid,” for her casual and, according to him, disrespectful remark about veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi. During a recent Instagram live, Sudhanshu expressed disappointment over Apoorva’s “Ashish jaayega” comment, calling it inappropriate and reflective of poor values.
Pandey questioned the tone of her statement, asking if Ashish was her childhood friend to be spoken about so lightly. He emphasized that using such a dismissive attitude towards senior artists is disrespectful, adding, “Jab aapki zubaan kharaab ho jaaye na, toh wo sab kuch kharaab kar deti hai.”
Referring to Vidyarthi as a senior figure even to himself, Sudhanshu said he was shocked to hear Apoorva speculate about Ashish’s elimination in such a casual tone. He further criticized the behavior, calling it a reflection of a misguided perception of Gen Z’s idea of ‘cool’ and labeled it “the biggest bullsh*t” and “a curse on our society.”
He concluded by pointing to his own children—also Gen Z—who, he said, remain respectful, and stressed that generalizations about youth culture should not excuse poor behavior.
