Sharing the look on Instagram, Hrithik described his character’s details – “Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania Call Sign: Patty, Designation: Squadron Pilot, Unit: Air Dragons”.

The photo depicts a flying-suit-clad Hrithik walking away from a fighter jet parked on a runway, hinting at the high-octane flying sequences director Siddharth Anand has envisioned.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared that ‘Fighter’ would be released in cinemas on January 25, 2024 – coinciding with India’s Republic Day weekend – in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

The film sees Hrithik pair up with Deepika Padukone for the first time while Anil Kapoor also plays a pivotal role. It promises to redefine the visual spectacle Indian filmgoers can expect from action movies.

With Viacom18 Studios bankrolling it along with Marflix Pictures, ‘Fighter’ has already built huge buzz thanks to the Hrithik-Deepika casting coup and high-tech premise involving India’s foray into manned jets.

“Get ready to take off with Fighter where the skies will witness cinematic brilliance,” Hrithik said, as audiences brace for an adrenaline-pumping Republic Day 2024.
