Diljit x Ed: A Musical Mashup in Birmingham at ‘Dil-Luminati’ Concert – Watch

Is this real? Two iconic singers on one stage? Okay, let us be clearer. During the Birmingham stop of Diljit Dosanjh’s ongoing ‘Dil-Luminati‘ Tour, fans were shocked to witness British Pop star Ed Sheeran sharing a stage with our ‘Punjab-da-Munda’. The two global icons performed together, bringing back the nostalgia of March this year when Diljit supported Ed during his concert in Mumbai. This epic reunion took all over the internet.

Diljit, Ed Sheeran shares stage in Birmingham

Today (September 23), both Diljit and Ed took to their Instagram in a shared reel capturing a memorable moment from his Birmingham concert. Donning an all-white outfit, Diljit hyped up the crowd in his signature Punjabi style, shouting, “Ed Sheeran aa gaya oye” (Ed Sheeran has arrived), to the audience’s excitement. While, Ed made his entrance on stage, dressed in a black T-shirt, dark grey track pants, and light orange sneakers.

Meanwhile, Ed also shared the video on Instagram – “Returning the favour to my brother @diljitdosanjh tonight in Birmingham, what an amazing atmosphere, thanks for having me!.”

This reel featured Ed strumming his guitar and performing his global hit – ‘Shape of You’ before joining Diljit. And now, you should hold your heart as you will witness a superb music fusion of Indo-Western music, where our Punjabi Munda is seen surprising the audience by blending ‘Shape of You’ with his track ‘Naina’ from Crew movie. That’s not it, they further, sang mashup while seated together and wrapped up their performance with a warm embrace, leaving the audience thrilled and excited.

Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati tour in India

For those who are unaware, Diljit Dosanjh will commence his ‘Dil-Luminati’ tour in India in October this year. Interestingly, this will kickstart from Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 26, followed by concerts in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati.
