Fresh off delivering back-to-back hits, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone visited the holy Tirupati Balaji temple on Friday likely seeking blessings for future success. Accompanied by professional golfer sister Anisha, Deepika offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara shrine.
The actor duo reached Tirumala by foot on Thursday night as per tradition. They were draped in traditional silks to get the darshan of Lord Balaji early morning. As per reports, Deepika also received holy theertham and Vedic blessings from temple priests.
The Shri Vaishnava temple has long been a pitstop for celebrities before major career milestones. Deepika herself previously visited in 2018 shortly before marrying Ranveer Singh. Her latest trip follows the smash hit Pathaan and Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan.
The Om Shanti Om debutante now heads into another blockbuster-laden year with Fighter opposite Hrithik Roshan. Deepika also stars in upcoming titles Kalki 2898 AD and Singham Again hinting at an even bigger 2023.
Given the incredible reception for Deepika’s recent films, Tirupati Balaji’s divine hand is evident. The pilgrimage possibly manifested to offer gratitude and pray for sustained success ahead.
Meanwhile, SRK similarly visited the Sai Baba shrine at Shirdi this week, besides seeking Mata Vaishnodevi’s favors in Jammu. With his comeback vehicle Dunki on the horizon, the superstar is also banking on spiritual powers to bless his labor of love.
