Composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar reworked the traditional 50-year-old Iranian Bandari folk tune into a contemporary dance mix for Bobby’s character Abrar’s entry in the film.

Originally performed by the Iranian group Khatereh, the song’s lyrics translate to “Oh my love, don’t play with my heart; You are leaving, starting a new journey; And I’m going crazy”.

The inclusion of a children’s chorus adds a lively spirit to the blended voices singing the catchy tune that has sparked a reel trend on social media.

Ever since the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial was released, fans have been searching high and low for the song that marks villain Bobby’s power-packed entry in ‘Animal’.

The full 3-minute song retains the original classical Iranian composition while modernizing it for the Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer that continues to break box office records.

Bobby’s Abrar dances with full gusto to the song in the film, encapsulating the character’s colorful and carefree persona before events take a dark, violent turn after.
