TVS Motor Company has introduced the SmartXonnect variant of its popular TVS Jupiter 125 scooter in India. Priced at Rs. 96,855 (ex-showroom, Delhi), this new variant offers enhanced connectivity features and added safety elements.
Enhanced Connectivity with SmartXonnect
TVS has integrated SmartXonnect technology into the TVS Jupiter 125 SmartXonnect variant. This addition significantly enhances the scooter’s connectivity features. The new TFT screen, accompanied by a colored hybrid console, seamlessly connects to the rider’s smartphone. Users can access call and message notifications, turn-by-turn navigation, and voice-assisted features. Moreover, the TFT screen displays alerts from social media platforms and food/shopping apps. Riders can also stay updated with weather forecasts, real-time sports scores, and the latest news.
Safety Features
The JTVS upiter 125 SmartXonnect comes equipped with two notable safety features. The follow-me headlamp function ensures that the headlamp remains illuminated for 20 seconds after turning off the engine. This feature enhances visibility and safety during brief stops. Additionally, hazard lights have been introduced to further enhance rider safety and visibility on the road.
TVS has introduced two new colors for the SmartXonnect variant – Elegant Red and Matte Copper Bronze. These color choices provide riders with additional options to suit their preferences.

The Jupiter 125 SmartXonnect remains consistent with other variants. It is powered by a 124.8cc engine paired with a CVT transmission system, producing 8.04bhp and 10.5Nm of torque. The scooter weighs 108kg and rides on 12-inch alloy wheels (steel wheels are available as an option).

Suspension is handled by telescopic forks in the front and a monoshock in the rear. Braking options include a disc-drum combination, with a dual drum brake variant also available. The TVS Jupiter 125 is renowned for its capacious 33-liter under-seat storage and a front-mounted fuel filler.
