To ensure a seamless travel experience during the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UP ITS), the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) is increasing the frequency of metro trains on the Aqua Line.

It is scheduled from 21st September to 25th September. The UP ITS will kick off with an inauguration ceremony by President Droupadi Murmu at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida.

Reduced Interval During Peak Hours due to Noida Metro Aqua Line

To accommodate the anticipated influx of visitors and prevent overcrowding at stations, NMRC has decided to operate trains at shorter intervals. Trains will run every 7.5 minutes between 8 am and 10 pm during the event, a reduction from the usual 10-minute intervals. Peak hours, from 8 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 8 pm, will also see the 7.5-minute interval maintained, as per NMRC’s regular schedule.

Visitors attending the International Trade Show in Greater Noida can conveniently access the venue through the Knowledge Park metro station.

For those commuting by car, parking facilities are available at eight Aqua Line metro stations: Sector 51, Sector 76, NSEZ, Sector 142, Sector-137, Pari Chowk, Alpha 1, and Delta 1.

Anticipated Traffic and Road Restrictions

The UP ITS is expected to draw more than two lakh visitors, including international attendees. In light of this, local authorities have issued a road traffic advisory, and traffic restrictions will be enforced in Greater Noida for five days. Consequently, educational institutions, including schools and colleges in Noida and Greater Noida, will remain closed during this period.
