Hathras: Class 2 Kid ‘Sacrificed’ for School’s “Fame, Success”; Director & Staff Nabbed

In a shocking incident that has stunned the community of Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, a Class 2 student was allegedly murdered as part of a black magic ritual aimed at bringing prosperity and fame to a local school. The gruesome crime, which took place on September 22, has led to the arrest of five individuals, including the school’s owner.

Class 2 student murdered in UP’s Hathras

According to Hathras Superintendent of Police, Nipun Aggarwal, the motive behind the murder was rooted in superstition. “We have arrested five people,” Aggarwal stated. “The child was strangled with the intent to bring prosperity to the school and secure its future.”

The police investigation revealed that the school had been facing financial difficulties, leading the accused to believe that a human sacrifice would reverse their fortunes. The school owner’s father, reportedly involved in occult practices, is suspected to have influenced this misguided belief.

How did this incident come to light?

The tragedy unfolded in two attempts. On September 6, the first attempt was thwarted when the child raised an alarm during the strangling attempt. A subsequent medical examination confirmed signs of this assault. Undeterred, the perpetrators made a second attempt on September 22, initially planning to carry out the ritual near a tube well behind the school. However, when the boy awoke during the abduction, the panicked suspects strangled him inside the school premises.

Further evidence supporting the claims of occult activities was found near the tube well, where ritualistic items were discovered.

Here’s what the victim’s father said:

The victim’s father recounted the harrowing experience: “I received a call from my son’s school saying, ‘Your child’s condition is very serious. Please come immediately.’ While I was on my way, they called again and said, ‘The child’s condition has worsened, and we are taking him to Sadabad.’ We followed them towards Agra, but they didn’t stop the car. When we returned, we caught up with them in Sadabad, where we found the child’s body in their car.”

People want justice!

This tragic incident has not only devastated a family but also exposed the dangerous persistence of superstitious beliefs in some parts of society. It raises serious questions about the safety of children in educational institutions and the urgent need for awareness campaigns against such harmful practices.

As the investigation continues, the community grapples with the shock of this senseless crime, calling for justice and measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
