Jio Studios and Aamir Khan Productions’ film Laapataa Ladies, directed by Kiran Rao, has captivated audiences with its engaging storyline and humor. After receiving widespread praise from both viewers and critics during its theatrical and OTT release, it was also screened at the Supreme Court of India in the presence of producers Aamir Khan and director Kiran Rao.
In a major achievement, the film has now been selected as India’s official entry for the 2025 Oscars—a significant milestone in its journey.
