BTS Announces New Cryptic 2024 Festa Timeline

The beloved K-pop septet BTS is turning 11 soon, and the anticipation among fans is palpable. Their hearts are filled with hopeful expectations for the members’ reunion next year. Easing the wait, the eldest member Jin is set to return from his military service in two weeks.

Rumors and speculations about a 2025 reunion and potential musical comeback are already swirling. Adding to the excitement, the group revealed their purple-themed annual Festa timeline on June 1 (KST), featuring cryptic markers typical of their first teasers. It’s officially that time of the year again!

The week-long schedule kicks off with the first reveal on Sunday, June 2. Bang Bang Con ticket sales follow on Tuesday, June 4. More visual and musical surprises are set for June 5 and 6. The Bang Bang Con live-streaming event takes place on June 8, with a brief pause until June 13. A sweet “See You” message on the timeline has fans’ curiosity at its peak.

As with last year’s announcement, the 2024 Festa includes hints and emoticons. Traditionally, the presents for fans include never-before-seen photos, video reveals, and new song releases. In 2023, the Bang Bang Con event featured a livestream of back-to-back BTS concerts on Weverse and YouTube, along with a surprise acoustic live performance by Jimin. The highlight was the OT7 single “Take Two,” revealed just before June 13.

Last year’s festivities extended beyond the anniversary. The group’s memoir, “BTS: Beyond the Story,” was announced on June 14, and the grand finale turned Yeouido Park purple on June 17.

Fans are expecting a surprise track or two to drop during the celebrations. Despite being BTS’ birthday, the fans are promised a treat with numerous presents lined up throughout the week. It remains to be seen if any new music will feature all seven members, as the group’s hiatus continues until 2025.
