New details have emerged about the rumored Nothing Phone (2a), which the company may unveil at next year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Tipster Yogesh Brar leaked alleged key specifications via a social media post, claiming the Phone (2a) will feature a 120Hz OLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, 8/128GB memory configuration, 50MP dual rear cameras, Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14, a refreshed back panel design with redesigned Glyph interface, and enhanced glyph controls.
The leaker suggests Nothing could price the Phone (2a) around $400 (roughly Rs. 33,000) for its expected MWC 2024 launch.
Separately, Nothing India VP Manu Sharma recently announced he will depart the company at the end of January 2024 citing personal reasons. He expressed confidence in Nothing’s strong 2024 product lineup and leadership team.
The anticipated Phone (2a) would be Nothing’s third smartphone following last year’s Phone (1) and July 2022’s Phone (2), which recently received a Rs. 5,000 price cut in India.
With growing buzz around the company’s MWC 2024 plans, expectations are high for Nothing to unveil its next smartphone offering to build on the visual flair of its initial Glyph interface phones. The leaked Phone (2a) details give clues into what aesthetic and technical updates the start-up may introduce next.
