The Indian cricket team is set to tour Sri Lanka for a white-ball bilateral series comprising 3 ODIs and T20Is each in 2024. The tour would take place after the conclusion of the upcoming T20 World Cup in the West Indies and United States.
According to Sri Lanka Cricket’s 2024 itinerary, India will visit the island nation following their home assignments against Zimbabwe, and Afghanistan, and a tour of Bangladesh.
Sri Lanka had a largely disappointing 2023 across formats, crashing out early from the ODI World Cup and Asia Cup besides losing the Test series to Pakistan at home.
Hence next year will be crucial for rebuilding, with the team scheduled to play a substantial 52 international matches before their World Cup title defense in 2024.
