Announcing the news on social media, film critic Taran Adarsh revealed that ‘War 2’ becomes the sixth film from YRF’s blockbuster spy universe. It will be helmed by ‘Brahmastra’ director Ayan Mukerji and produced under the banner’s head honcho Aditya Chopra.
Fans have been clamoring for a follow-up ever since Hrithik Roshan reprised his ‘War’ character Kabir in a cameo in the recent ‘Tiger 3’. The post-credits scene teased his next death-defying adventure, and YRF has now locked a release date fittingly on India’s patriotic holiday.
