On Day 10 of the Asian Games, India secured the fourth spot with 69 medals, and on Day 11, they matched their Jakarta tally with two more medals. Ram Baboo and Manju Rani claimed bronze in the 35km race walk mixed team event, marking a historic achievement for India in race walking.

The highlight of the day came when Indian archers Jyothi Surekha Vennam and Pravin Ojas Deotale clinched gold in the compound archery mixed team event. They triumphed over South Korea’s Chaewon So and Jaehoon Joo with a score of 159-158. This gold medal not only solidified India’s best-ever medal tally but also equaled their record for the highest number of gold medals at the Asian Games.
