Prime Minister Modi unveiled multiple development projects in Rajasthan, highlighting the government’s dedication to the state’s advancement. These projects, totaling ₹7,000 crore, were inaugurated in Chittorgarh and focus on modern infrastructure like expressways, highways, and railways.
Gas Pipeline Inauguration Boosts Rajasthan’s Industrial Growth
One of the key projects unveiled by PM Modi is the Mehsana-Bhatinda-Gurdaspur Gas Pipeline, dedicated to Rajasthan. The newly inaugurated gas pipeline holds great significance in advancing a gas-based economy and is poised to drive industrial growth in the state, leading to increased job prospects. The project was completed at an approximate cost of ₹4,500 crores.
In addition to the gas pipeline, PM Modi inaugurated an LPG plant operated by HPCL in Abu Road. This facility is set to bottle and distribute 86 lakh cylinders annually, significantly reducing the need for trucks to transport cylinders. The reduction in truck mileage will lead to a notable decrease in carbon emissions, amounting to approximately 0.5 million tons annually.

Boosting Rajasthan’s Tourism Sector
PM Modi also announced initiatives aimed at enhancing Rajasthan’s tourism sector, focusing on cultural centers and the Swadesh Darshan Scheme. Nathdwara, a prominent religious destination associated with Saint Vallabhacharya’s Pushtimarg, received a modern ‘tourist interpretation and cultural center.’ This center enables tourists to explore various facets of Shrinathji’s life, enriching the tourism experience.
A critical infrastructure project inaugurated by the Prime Minister is the 4-lane road on NH-12 (New NH-52) in the Darah-Jhalawar-Teendhar section. This project, executed at a cost exceeding ₹1,480 crore, is expected to facilitate the transportation of mined produce from the Kota and Jhalawar districts.

PM Modi hailed Rajasthan as a state rich in heritage, strength, and future possibilities. He referred to it as ‘trishakti,’ emphasizing the role of Rajasthan’s vitality in bolstering the nation.
