PM Modi also discussed topics from various sectors like biotechnology, semiconductors and electronics, to have an assertive discussion about what potential for innovation India might have to offer to enhance these tech-related sectors and make them accessible to a larger population.

Among the big techno, Google CEO Sundar Pichai attended the round table meeting along with IBM’s CEO Arvind Krishna and Noubar Afeyan, the chairman of Moderna.
Taking it to X, PM Modi wrote, “Had a fruitful round table with tech CEOs in New York, discussing aspects relating to technology, innovation and more. Also highlighted the strides made by India in this field. I am glad to see immense optimism towards India.”
Meanwhile, highlighting the key discussions of the meeting, Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal also took to his X with a post – “PM emphasised India’s growth prospects and discussed initiatives to foster collaboration and innovation across diverse sectors.”
