Ahead of Black Friday on November 24, Google has revealed lucrative discounts and deals for its lineup of Pixel devices and other products on its online store in the US.
The tech giant announced that the Google Store’s Black Friday sale goes live starting November 16, with sizable reductions on smartphones, tablets, wearables, and more.
Some of the highlights include the Pixel Fold receiving a $400 price cut, now retailing at $1,399, down from its original $1,799 price tag. The premium foldable packs Google’s latest Tensor G2 chip.
The recently introduced Pixel 8 series is also included in the Black Friday discounts. The base Pixel 8, priced at $699, will see a $150 markdown, now retailing at $549 on the Google Store. Simultaneously, the Pixel 8 Pro receives a $200 discount, bringing its price down to $799. The Pixel 7a, released in May, undergoes a reduction as well, being offered at $374 during the Black Friday promotion.
The Pixel Tablet, unveiled at Google I/O 2022, gets a $100 price slash to $399. Google’s smartwatch Pixel Watch and true wireless Pixel Buds Pro are each $80 off, now priced at $199 and $119 respectively.
Other Google hardware like Chromecast, Nest Hub, and Nest Wifi also undergo discounts of up to $50. Signing up for Store emails nets an extra $10 off.
For US buyers, the Black Friday sale represents a great opportunity to purchase Google devices at lower price points. The deals underscore Google’s aggressive holiday season strategy to boost Pixel sales, taking on rivals like Samsung and Apple.
