Prime Minister Narendra Modi has authored the foreword to the Indian edition of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s autobiography “I Am Giorgia — My Roots, My Principles,” characterizing her as a “patriot and outstanding contemporary leader” whose life story holds particular appeal for Indian readers.
PM Modi drew a parallel between Meloni’s memoir and his own monthly radio program, describing the autobiography as her “Mann Ki Baat.” In his contribution, he expressed that it was a “great honour” to write for the book, scheduled for Indian release by Rupa Publications.
“I do so with respect, admiration and friendship for Prime Minister Meloni,” PM Modi wrote, predicting her “inspiring and historic” journey would be “well received in India as a refreshing story of an outstanding contemporary political leader.”
