Currently, the G20 summit is talked about and discussed heavily among the people. However, some pictures are getting widely circulated on the social media platforms. 

It is said that these pictures are from 2023 where the government is hiding slums ahead of the G20 summit. Several Tweets claim that this is how the “Vishwaguru” is celebrating the G20 Summit by hiding the slums and poverty of the country.

The Truth about G20 Banner Images

After investigation from other sources and reverse image search, these images are not from Delhi. These photos of curtains and banners on the slum to hide are from last year in Mumbai. The pictures are probably of Jogeshwari slums along Mumbai from last year. Thus, it is a request to not believe everything that is seen on the internet.

These images are being used right now to set a political narrative. However, some beautification and moderation for the G20 Summit are going on in Delhi.
