Bihar prepares for the concluding phase of its Assembly Elections 2025, with 122 constituencies across 20 districts scheduled to vote on November 11.

This decisive phase will significantly influence the formation of the state’s next government, with election authorities establishing a record 45,399 polling stations to accommodate the massive electoral exercise.

Candidate and Voter Demographics

A total of 1,302 candidates are competing in this phase, including 136 women and one third-gender candidate. The constituencies span central, western, and northern regions of Bihar. Approximately 3.7 crore voters are eligible to participate, comprising 1.95 crore men and 1.74 crore women.

Vote counting for all 243 assembly constituencies will occur on November 14, 2025, determining the composition of Bihar’s next government.

Enhanced Security Measures

Election officials have implemented heightened security protocols at vulnerable polling booths and temporarily closed several border points along the India-Nepal frontier to ensure safe and orderly voting.

Special provisions have been arranged for senior citizens and differently-abled voters, including dedicated help desks, additional support staff, and improved accessibility features at polling centers.

Voter Information Access

Voters can locate their polling stations through the following steps:

  1. Visit electoralsearch.eci.gov.in or nvsp.in
  2. Search using EPIC number or personal details
  3. Verify information matches voter ID for accuracy
  4. Access polling station name, booth number, constituency, and voter roll details
  5. Utilize map or location features for navigation assistance
  6. Save or print information for election day reference

Results Anticipation

November 14 will conclude the electoral suspense as results are announced for this high-stakes political contest. The political establishment and public alike await the outcome that will chart Bihar’s governmental direction for the coming term.

This final phase represents one of India’s largest democratic exercises, with the scale of preparation reflecting the significance of Bihar’s electoral process. The comprehensive arrangements aim to facilitate smooth voting operations across the state’s diverse geographical terrain.
