Ranbir Kapoor marked his 43rd birthday on September 23 with a special surprise for his fans. On Sunday evening, the actor went live on Instagram through the official page of his lifestyle label, Arks. During the session, he interacted with followers, answered a range of questions, and revealed the thoughtful present he received from his daughter Raha on his big day.
Ranbir on Raha’s birthday surprise
While chatting with fans, Ranbir shared the sweetest detail from his birthday. “Raha made me a promise that she will give me 43 kisses, so I got that!” he revealed with a smile. Ranbir tied the knot with Alia Bhatt in April 2022 after years of dating, and the couple welcomed Raha in November of the same year. It was only on Christmas 2023 that the family stepped out with their daughter for the very first time, delighting fans everywhere.
Ranbir talks music and Lokah
The actor also opened up about his current playlist. “One song which I truly love is Barbaad from Saiyaara. I really like that song. I like the music of Lokah. I recently saw the film and it was just excellent. I like Sahiba- it is a great song. I am usually a Spotify top 50 person, the India top 50 or the global top 50. Usually, I discover music from there,” he said. Interestingly, both Saiyaara and the Malayalam superhero drama Lokah had already earned praise from Alia right after their releases.
Ranbir’s upcoming projects
Professionally, Ranbir is gearing up for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, where he stars alongside Alia and Vicky Kaushal. The much-anticipated film is slated for release on March 20 next year. He will also be seen as Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s grand project Ramayana, featuring Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Raavan. The first installment of the epic saga is expected to arrive in theatres during Diwali 2026.
