Relationship Timeline
The couple first met in 2015 while filming an advertisement and went public with their relationship the same year. Throughout their decade-long romance, they’ve maintained privacy, appearing together only occasionally at public events.
A defining chapter of their relationship occurred in 2017 when Shin Min Ah provided unwavering support during Kim Woo Bin’s battle with nasopharyngeal cancer, demonstrating the partnership’s resilience during challenging times.
Career Highlights
Shin Min Ah has cultivated substantial international following through dramas including “A Love to Kill,” “My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho,” “Oh My Venus,” and global hit “Hometown-Cha-Cha-Cha.” She recently starred in 2024’s “No Gain No Love” and “Our Blues” (2022), with upcoming 2026 Disney+ fantasy romance “The Remarried Empress” where she’ll headline as Empress Navier.
Kim Woo Bin gained recognition through “The Heirs,” “Uncontrollably Fond,” and the “Alienoid” film series. His latest project, Netflix fantasy rom-com “Genie, Make a Wish,” released October 3, 2025, features him as Iblis, a mischievous centuries-old genie alongside Bae Suzy—their first collaboration since “Uncontrollably Fond” nearly a decade earlier.
The December ceremony marks a significant milestone for one of Korean entertainment’s most enduring couples.
