Bollywood power couple Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have welcomed a new member to their family, and they’re spilling the beans on their little one’s adorable name.
Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal reveal name of their daughter
In an exclusive interview with Vogue India, the actors revealed that their baby girl, born on July 16th this year, has been christened Zuneyra Ida Fazal. Zuneyra, an Urdu name meaning “Flower of Paradise,” is sure to blossom into a true delight.
When announcing their daughter’s arrival, Richa and Ali shared a joint statement that read, “We are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24! Our families are overjoyed, and we thank our well-wishers for their love and blessings! Love, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal.”
Is parenting tough for Ali Fazal & Richa Chadha?
The Mirzapur star, Ali, couldn’t help but gush about the joys of parenthood, telling the magazine, “Having a baby fills a void that you weren’t even aware existed. That part never ceases to amaze me. It’s freakin’ hard to work now. I have serious anxiety when I leave home because I just want to see the baby all the time and be around Richa and her.”
Richa, on the other hand, is taking a more relaxed approach, sharing that she hasn’t read many parenting books and instead prefers to trust her natural instincts with her daughter, affectionately known as “Zuni.”
About their marriage
The power couple, who tied the knot under the Special Marriage Act in 2020 and celebrated their union in 2022, are now embarking on the exciting journey of parenthood together.
As for their work commitments, Richa was last seen in the Netflix series Heeramandi: The Diamond Baazar, while Ali Fazal recently reprised his role as Guddu Pandit in the third season of Mirzapur, which premiered on Prime Video.
