Prince William and Kate Middleton all set to make major decisions about their three children

Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton are facing a significant decision regarding their three children ahead of this year’s Trooping the Colour.

According to GB News’ Royal Correspondent, the couple has yet to decide if Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will attend King Charles’ birthday parade, especially given Catherine’s absence from public events due to undergoing cancer treatment.

During the podcast Royal Record, GB News’ Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker and Digital Royal Editor Svar Nanan-Sen discussed the upcoming celebration. Trooping the Colour, which marks the monarch’s birthday, is held every June with senior Royal family members in attendance.

Svar Nanan-Sen highlighted Prince Louis’s reputation for “stealing the show” with his “cheeky” behavior and asked Cameron whether he believes the young royal will make an appearance this year. Louis previously garnered attention during the 2022 flypast for Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee, where he was photographed holding his ears.

Cameron responded, “I suspect we probably will,” referencing Prince George’s recent outing to Wembley with his father for the FA Cup Final. He noted that William seems comfortable with his children participating in public events, adding, “I suspect they probably would do it without their mother as well. Everyone loves seeing cheeky Louis on the balcony.”

Considering the family’s recent six-month absence from the spotlight, Cameron mentioned that the British public would likely welcome the royal children’s appearance. However, he emphasized that the decision rests with William and Catherine, acknowledging the potential challenges given Catherine’s condition. “If it is too much for them with the princess’ condition, I suspect the British public won’t be too upset,” he said.

While it is confirmed that King Charles will attend Trooping the Colour, the Royal family typically does not publicly confirm whether the children will be on the balcony.

Following Buckingham Palace’s announcement regarding King Charles and Prince William’s engagements ahead of the UK general elections, there was speculation about the King’s attendance at the parade. The palace stated that the King and William had postponed all engagements that could “divert attention” from the campaign.

Meanwhile, the army announced that the Number 9 Company, Irish Guards, had been selected to troop their color.
