Amitabh Bachchan recently shared a heartfelt message celebrating India’s rise on the global stage, using his personal blog to express admiration for the country’s growing strength and resilience.

The veteran actor, who regularly interacts with fans through social media and his blog, revealed that a particular phrase had caught his attention and left a lasting impression on him: “India anti-fragile.” Reflecting on its meaning, Bachchan said the term perfectly captures how the nation is viewed today.

Writing on his blog on Thursday night, he noted that India can no longer be described as weak, vulnerable or easily intimidated. According to him, the country has evolved into a confident and resilient force that commands respect around the world.

Alongside images of the Indian Tricolour, Bachchan expressed his pride in the nation’s progress, saying India now stands tall as a strong and determined country. He ended his message on an upbeat note, encouraging fellow Indians to celebrate that transformation with pride and confidence.

This is not the first time Bachchan has spoken passionately about the country. Over the years, he has frequently used his blog to celebrate India’s achievements, particularly memorable victories by the national cricket team. His posts often cover a wide range of subjects, from professional experiences and personal reflections to social observations and current events.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Bachchan is currently filming the sequel to the blockbuster sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the project also features Prabhas and Kamal Haasan in major roles.

The first film, released in 2024, saw Bachchan portray Ashwatthama, a performance that earned widespread praise from both critics and audiences. The film went on to become a massive box office success, grossing more than ₹1,000 crore globally.

There has been speculation surrounding the sequel’s cast, with reports suggesting that Deepika Padukone may not return for the next chapter. Sai Pallavi’s name has also been linked to the project, although the makers have yet to make any official announcement.

Earlier, Bachchan shared glimpses from the film’s set and expressed his excitement about reuniting with Kamal Haasan after many years. The two screen legends last worked together in Giraftaar, and Bachchan described the reunion as a special moment.

Kalki 2 is expected to continue the story from where the first film ended, with the narrative focusing on the growing resistance against Supreme Yaskin, played by Kamal Haasan. The sequel is likely to introduce new characters, expand the futuristic universe and feature even bigger action sequences, particularly involving Prabhas’ character.
